Custom LP on a Socal high school band label. I very little about Roach Om's background, but her band is either Oneness of Juju or has tie-in's to that group.

You'll hear socially conscious/black power poetry over jazz/funk backgrounds. Uncredited studio musicians are impressive and a couple of the selections (featuring more inspired readings) are excellent but LP as a whole is a little flat . One of the better cuts made its way onto a 90s CD compilation.
