Troubled
Alpha Omega, 1970

Astonishing Outsider obscurity that began slowly creeping its way into collector circles in 2001. This trio had no business in the recording studio according to any "professional" standards of musicianship. They simply had a message to deliver and the instinctive musical know-how to pull it off. A pair of uncanny, Bizarro-World Cale and Nico vocalists haunt the LP and their outrageously creative and defiant song writing flies smack in the face of most late '60s popular sentiment. One of my favorite records of all time. See our record label Companion Records for much more info and a deluxe CD reissue available for purchase.

Here's a must-see band photo and MP3 excerpts of "Countdown to Revolution" and "Dig! (The Origin of Man)" [both vinyl burns].
