Astonishing "lost" Outsider/garage rock album that began slowly creeping its way into collector circles in 2001. Imagine a cross between the Velvet Underground and the Shaggs with a heavy religious anti-drug message, and that'll put ya in the ballpark. This trio had no business in the recording studio according to any "professional" standards of musicianship. They simply had a message to deliver and the instinctive musical know-how to pull it off. A pair of uncanny, Bizarro-World Cale and Nico vocalists haunt the entire LP and their outrageously creative and defiant song writing flies smack in the face of most late '60s popular sentiment.
