Cool lady. I'll never listen to this record again, but enjoyed hearing the first time around.

Gertrude tells her incomprehensibly demoralizing life story which goes from the silver spoon to the heroin spoon, then into booze, and then onto her crash landing. Oh, and of course she gets her sh** together at one point which qualified her to make the album.

Charming story teller with a good delivery. The curious also might might want to keep an eye out for her "Who is the Alcoholic" LP.
