Silhouette John Rydgren
Groovy collage of soul, rock, pop psych, and spoken word created for radio by the man behind Silhouette Segments (see Gallery "L"). In comparison to that album it's a let down, but has some really nice hippie teen spoken word interview bytes and all the music is enjoyable. There's no separation between any of the tracks. Album runs uninterrupted with 6 pop songs per side and spoken segways in between. His bizarre "teen prayer" over wild psychedelic effects on side two, leading into a heavy fuzz psych number is far and away the highlight. Outstanding! Click here for inner cover photo's. |
